Raku ceramics and embroidery

Ceramics and weaving take us back to ancestral female activities, the art of shaping the earth and mending existence with thread.
Using the ancient Japanese technique of raku pottery, I create jewelry and small worlds in iridescent colors. I use raku primarily because it inherently has a touch of magic, a creative process controlled by the artist up to a certain point. Fire and air then give the final nuances to the created object, leaving the artist amazed by the wonder and the power of Nature. My little Goddesses and other jewelry and objects combine the four elements: earth, water, air, and fire.
I also create small embroidered objects and here, thread is like a pen that writes and narrates in the form of matter.
